사전(dictionary)에 있는 단어들을 누가 어떻게 사용하느냐에 따라 전혀 다른 결과물이 만들어지는 것처럼 건축의 생성에 관계하는 작가들의 개성에 주목하며, 시대의 변화에 따라 단어들이 사라지기도 하고 새로 만들어지기도 하는 것처럼 이미 완성된 지점에 머무는 것이 아니라, 변화와 다양성을 지속적으로 수용하는 변곡점이 되기를 지향한다.
작은 디테일을 통해 건축이 완성되고, 단일 건물을 통해 동네를 변화시킬 수 있다는 것은 건축이 만들어내는 가치가 작은 곳에서부터 큰 곳에 이르기까지 고르게 미칠 수 있다는 것이다. 때문에 건축은 지속적으로 틀을 열어서 경계를 넓히고 새로운 가치를 추가하면서 지평을 늘릴 필요가 있다. 이처럼 새로운 발견을 하기 위해서 아주 작은 소품에서부터 도시계획에 이르기까지 다양한 시도를 지속하고 있으며, 패러다임의 변화를 유도하는 촉매제가 되는 작업을 하고 있다.
Just as a completely different result is created depending on who uses the words in the dictionary, we pay attention to the individuality of the artists involved in the creation of architecture, and as words disappear or are newly created according to the changes of the times, they appear at the point already completed. Rather than staying, we aim to become an inflection point that continuously embraces change and diversity. The fact that architecture is completed through small details and that a single building can change a neighborhood means that the value created by architecture can spread evenly from small to large places. Therefore, it is necessary for architecture to continuously open the frame to expand the boundaries and expand the horizon while adding new values. In order to make new discoveries like this, various attempts are being made, from very small props to urban planning, and they are working as a catalyst for inducing a paradigm shift.

팀의 구성은 고정되어 있지 않고 끊임없이 변화한다. 현대건축은 단일 건물의 문제만이 아니라 관련된 모든 유기적인 관계를 함께 고민하기 시작했다. 이와 같이, 건축이 단순히 건물로 머물지 않고 사회적 시설로서 더 사려 깊은 고려를 요구 받게 되면서, DIDI는 건축에 국한되지 않고 다양한 분야의 전문가를 연계시키고 상호반응을 유도하는 코디네이터로서 통합적이면서도 경계가 희미한 디자인 환경을 추구한다.
Composition of the team is not homogeneously uniform but constantly evolving. Contemporary architecture requires consideration of not only the matter of a single building but also the whole potential organic relations. We pursue integrated and edge blurring design environment as a coordinator joining experts in various fields beyond architecture and inducing interaction between them.
